F. Ball and Co. Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of its Managing Director, James Igoe, as Chairman of the British Adhesives and Sealants Association (BASA). James, with the assistance of the BASA council, will be responsible for setting and reviewing BASA policy, mission, strategy and annual objectives. James has over 30 years’ flooring industry experience and almost 10 years as Managing Director of F. Ball and Co. Ltd. His appointment as Chairman of the association follows a unanimous vote by the BASA members.

F. Ball's Chairman Geoffrey Ball, comments: “James’ nomination and appointment has the full support of F. Ball and Co. Ltd. Being Chairman of BASA is an important role which James is more than capable of fulfilling. His extensive experience of the industry will be of great benefit to the Association.”

Run by members for members, BASA has 97 member companies, accounting for 85% of the industry. The association supports its members by offering training and networking opportunities, as well as providing information and guidance on technical, business and environmental issues.

James Igoe concludes: “As Chairman, I am committed to maintaining a balanced and representative BASA council that reflects and promotes the interests of our members and of the adhesives and sealants industry as a whole.”
